Callita is a fabulous broodmare that has real mare power. She has produced consistent high quality colorful foals - with fabulous color, pizzaz and great work ethic!

Her sire, Kays Calico was 2x Reserve National Champion 1988 Open Obstacle Driving & Open Halter Obstacle. Callita was included in Outstanding Miniature Horse Mares: Past and Present written by Pat Elder, for her contribution over the years.

We first saw Callita back in 1999, but didn't get the opportunity to add her to our breeding program until 2004. She's given us wonderful foals over the years and we have two daughters (Wesco Farms Buena Baybee Blues & Las Doradas Mardi Gras), a grand-daughter (Wesco Farms Bella Luna, Wesco Farms While U Were Sleeping and Las Doradas Calypso Queen), great grand-daughter (Wesco Farms Jamaica Me Crazy & Wesco Farms Count Your Blessings) and great great grand-daughter (Wesco Farms Vanna White BB) in our breeding program too.
