His sire, Legend, owned by Dave and Jill Miller of Oak Grove Miniature's is a gorgeous buckskin stallion known for his National Champion get, such as Samis Rocket Squirrel, Samis Quo Vadis, Samis Rewind and Samis Simone. His dam, Samis Itty Bitty Bananaette is a beautiful Banana daughter, owned by Joye Bondanza, Aristo Acres

Roger is a grandson of two AMHA National Grand Champion Senior Stallions - Prince Tennessee Monashee and Shadow Oaks Top Banana,

Both of these prolific stallions are known for passing not only solid halter winning good looks, but also both have numerous sons/daughters and grand-get winning in the performance classes as well, especially driving!

Roger, at a petitte, 27.00", will never pull a cart but does have the wonderful movement his bloodlines are known to produce!

We have been thrilled with Roger's first two foal crops in 2004 & 2005! His sons are all on the small side, while his daughters have been inheriting their dam's height, along with Roger's wonderful long neck, and superior attitude!

Roger was shown twice in 2005, each time being pulled out of the breeding pasture, bathed, clipped and off to a show! His stellar personality and easy going nature makes this possible!

His first show was the AMHR Area VII Championship show were he won his height division (28"under Senior Stallion).

His second show was the AMHA Western Championship Show, were he earned a Top Five (third) in the 28" under Senior Stallion class. This was after breaking through a fence to get to a few mares the day before leaving for Reno, resulting in a severe lacerating to his nose and upper lip. So, he was shown scraped and a bit thin - but still acting like Mr. Hot Stuff that he thinks he is!!!

Roger was slated to to attend the AMHR Nationals in 2005, but came down with WNV upon his return from Reno. He fortunately recovered quickly under the care of his Vet - Dr. Burt Brooks, Cache Creek Holisitic Veterinary Service and his wonderful support team.

Roger will probably never be shown again as his true value is in the wonderful foals he sires here.
